Testimonials

Thousands of
Happy Customers.

S.T
They have an assortment of items from fudge, salt water taffy, chocolate covered strawberries to cookies, pralines and cream toffee and of course caramel and candy apples (I’m just naming a few items of what they have). We got some caramel apples with nuts. They held up all day in the car while we walked around. I finally got to it tonight and it was worth the wait 😋

They have so many delicious looking confections it’s hard to choose. I ending up picking milk chocolate and dark chocolate turtles. I liked the dark ones best.

Stopped in (end of December 2023) because I remembered this place from when we came as kids. Grabbed the taffy in the white box since it was what my parents got us at kids and it was a memory. Just as good and this time I got to share with my kiddos. I haven’t been back to Helen since I was little.
Andres M
OUTSTANDING candy place for buy whatever that u can imagine with chocolate or caramel, i bought a couple of caramel apple and a oreo fudge with different kind of chocolate, so sweet but amazing flavor, they have to many different gummies and candies in big quantities to buy but i think the most good of this place it's the apples, was my first time eating those and was a nice experience in my mouth i recommend go to this place if you are at Helen, GA🍫🍦🍩🍪

About us

Legacy Candy

The Jones Created A Legacy in Helen, GA

Hansel & Gretel Candy Kitchen was founded in 1973 by the Jones family in
the scenic town of Helen, Georgia, a locale designed to emulate a
Bavarian alpine village. The Jones family, driven by a passion for
confections and a desire to create high-quality, handmade candies,
established the store with a commitment to traditional candy-making
techniques. Over the years, their dedication to crafting chocolates,
fudge, and pralines from scratch has garnered a loyal customer base. The
candy kitchen remains a beloved local institution, embodying both the
charm of Helen and the enduring legacy of the Jones family's
craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit.
